The Heritage Slab | American White Oak Brisket & Carving Board
Pre-Order Notice: This item is available via pre-order only. Please allow a lead time of 3 weeks (15 business days) for crafting prior to shipping.
When you have spent twelve hours tending the smoker or roasting the ultimate Sunday feast, your meat deserves better than a cramped, flimsy plastic board. Handcrafted in my Moruya workshop from a thick 50 mm slab of American White Oak, The Heritage Slab is purpose-built for BBQ pitmasters, keen home cooks, and anyone who loves carving and serving serious cuts of meat.
Built for Brisket, BBQ & Sunday Roasts Measuring a generous 520 x 350 mm, this board gives you all the real estate you need to rest and slice a full packer brisket, a rack of beef ribs, or a classic roast leg of lamb without feeling crowded. I have routed a deep perimeter juice groove around the top face specifically to catch every drop of resting juices and pan drippings, keeping your kitchen benchtop or outdoor BBQ station completely mess-free while you carve.
From the Smoker Straight to the Table At 50 mm thick, The Heritage Slab has a substantial, reassuring weight that will not slide or flex while you are slicing through crusty bark or carving portions for a hungry crowd. Underneath, heavy-duty rubber feet grip your counter tightly and lift the timber off the surface so air can flow underneath and prevent trapped moisture. When it is time to serve, the deep finger grooves carved into the sides give you a comfortable, secure grip to carry your loaded board straight from the grill to the centre of the dining table.
Timeless Hardwood Durability As part of my flagship Cucinona collection, I chose American White Oak for its tight, moisture-resistant grain structure and classic golden-tan tones that look right at home in both modern kitchens and rustic outdoor entertaining areas. Plus, because The Heritage Slab is over $250, your pre-order automatically includes free shipping and a complimentary tin of my board polish to keep your timber conditioned for years of weekend cook-ups.
