Dowry is a beautifully curated store located on the far south coast of New South Wales, in Moruya. Founded in 2009 by a mother-daughter duo, the shop began as a passion project focused on vintage textiles and has grown into a vibrant retail space offering:
Re-upholstered furniture, ottomans, and cushions
Handmade toys, gifts, and accessories
A small line of clothing crafted from vintage fabrics and linens
Unique wares from local artists and makers
Dowry is deeply rooted in the values of slow design and sustainability, with every item chosen for its craftsmanship, environmental impact, and beauty. The store also includes a studio and workshop space, where much of the magic happens.
