Handcrafted Spotted Gum Honey Dipper | Wooden Honey Drizzler

$27.00

Complete your morning breakfast ritual with this handcrafted wooden honey dipper. Designed as the perfect companion piece to my Scottish porridge spurtle, this honey wand features deep, precision-cut grooves tailored to cleanly capture and hold just the right amount of honey or golden syrup for your oats, tea, or grazing board.

I turn each of these dippers by hand on the lathe in my Moruya workshop using beautiful, salvaged Australian spotted gum. Spotted gum is a premium, dense hardwood known for its striking grain patterns and incredible durability. Measuring 190mm in length with a 45mm diameter head, it provides a comfortable grip while keeping your hands clear of sticky jars. Once the shaping is complete, I sand each piece to a flawlessly smooth finish and seal it with natural, food-safe tung oil to protect the timber and bring out the rich, natural colors of the wood.

Whether you are upgrading your own morning porridge setup or looking for a unique, functional addition to your kitchen, this piece brings a touch of handcrafted warmth to your daily routine.
